Solomon Gorvie

Bro. Solomon Gorvie is the son of Max Gorvie, who has served in Sierra Leone for many years and God has used him to see many people come to Christ and grow in the knowledge of the Lord. Bro. Solomon Gorvie is the supervisor of the Steve Ware High School in Makanji, and has stepped in his Father's place as pastor of the church in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Through his and his Father's ministry they begun many churches in Liberia and started several schools to train the young children and teenagers of Sierra Leone. When Bro. Solomon was in states this past summer he stated that 80% of the population is illiterate. The national language is English in Sierra Leone, so the school teachers teach the students in English.

In Sierra Leone Bro. Solomon is training young men to pastor churches and teach in the schools. They looking forward to beginning a Bible College for the young men and women of Sierra Leone to train for the ministry.

The Lord is greatly using these ministries in Sierra Leone to reach the people of West Africa. Please pray for Bro. Solomon Gorvie, his wife Matilda, and young son David, as they minister to the people of Siera Leone, West Africa.
